The Villa Restaurant (Turkish Villa)

Located right in the heart of Brighton, The Villa Restaurant (Turkish Villa) on Pool Valley offers a warm, rustic slice of Turkey with a seaside breeze. It's the kind of place that greets you with the comforting aroma of grilled meat and baked bread even before you step inside. Whether you’re wandering the Brighton Lanes or just stepping off the beach, this spot is hard to miss-and even harder to resist once you’ve had a taste of what’s cooking.

The menu is a hearty celebration of Turkish cuisine, with crowd-pleasers like the Mixed Grill that arrives sizzling, loaded with lamb chops, chicken shish, and kofte-all expertly chargrilled. For those who like to keep it simple but flavorful, the Chicken Kebab is juicy, spiced just right, and served with fluffy couscous or rice and fresh salad. Want to go even bigger? The Mixed Kebab Platter is a table-sharing showstopper that’s perfect if you can’t pick just one thing.

Seafood lovers aren’t left behind either. The Sea Bass is delicately grilled and served with just enough zest to complement the natural flavor. The Prawns-plump and garlicky-make for a great starter or a light main if you’re pacing yourself for dessert.

Speaking of which, Turkish sweets are in full force here. The Baklava is flaky and rich without being cloying, while the Kunefe-a warm, syrup-soaked shredded pastry filled with gooey cheese-is the kind of indulgence you’ll think about long after the plate’s empty. Pair it with a cup of strong, aromatic Turkish Coffee, or if you prefer something gentler, the Turkish Tea comes in a traditional tulip glass that adds a touch of authenticity to the experience.

What really rounds out the meal here is the mezze selection. The Mix of Cold Meze is a light and colorful spread of hummus, baba ghanoush, dolma, and more-perfect for grazing while chatting. If you’re in the mood for something hot and comforting, the Mix Hot Meze offers options like fried Calamari Rings and mini Lahmacun (Turkish flatbread with minced meat and spices). Everything is made fresh and served with fluffy Pita Bread that’s warm and perfect for dipping.

Vegetarians will be pleased with options like the Vegetable Moussaka, a layered casserole that’s rich, savory, and satisfying. And don’t overlook the Pide-often called Turkish pizza-with its boat-shaped dough filled with cheese, veggies, or meat. It’s great for sharing or devouring solo with a cold beer.

Inside, the vibe is relaxed and welcoming, with traditional Turkish touches that make the space feel warm without being overdone. The seating is spacious, and there’s accessibility for wheelchair users, making it an inclusive spot for everyone. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite, settling in for dinner with friends, or enjoying a solo lunch, there’s something comforting about the setting-and the staff add to the charm with friendly service and helpful menu suggestions.

Drinks-wise, the restaurant offers a solid list-from wine and cocktails to halal options and free water refills. The salad bar and healthy options make it easy to balance out the heavier dishes if you’re watching your meal plan. Plus, it’s open late, so whether you're wrapping up a long day or starting a night out, it fits right into your schedule.

The Villa Restaurant (Turkish Villa) brings Turkish hospitality and flavor right into the heart of Brighton. It's not just about the food-it's the generous spirit of the place that makes you want to come back.

Great authentic Turkish restaurant that make you feel like you are in a street of Istanbul. Food is amazing, and fairly priced. Lutfiye and Turan chef were amazing, both very friendly and smiley. They have the best playlist as well. Will definitely be back.
